At the 2015 SEMA Show not only did we have a whole new booth layout, but it was filled to the brim with new products. This year we unveiled a host of new “kits” that bring the best of all of our brands to consumers with several unique all-in-one solutions. We also unveiled a few new products designed to let you enhance the aesthetics of your car or truck.
Without question, the LS engine swap has been the biggest thing to hit the automotive industry in the past decade. Under our Trans Dapt brand, we now offer complete “Swap-in-a-Box” packages that give enthusiasts everything they need to bolt an LS engine into their vehicle. From classic F-Body, X-Body and A-Body cars to C10 and S10 pickups, these kits take the headache out of the LS Swap. Each Trans-Dapt LS Swap-in-a-Box kit includes a set of Hedman Pro-Touring Mid-Length Headers (available in either HTC polished or Black Maxx matte ceramic metallic finishes), Trans Dapt motor mounts, pads, and transmission crossmember, and a Hamburger’s LS-Swap Oil Pan to relocate the sump so that it clears the factory crossmember.
Continuing the all-in-one kit theme, we also debuted the new Billet Oil Filter Relocation kit from Hamburger’s Performance. Made in the USA at our Whittier, California facility, these kits come with everything you need to remotely mount your oil filter for easier access or improved clearance. Kits include a Billet Bypass Adapter, Billet Oil Filter Base, AN fittings, and Gates Premium oil lines. They are available for a wide variety of American, European, and Japanese cars and trucks and are backed by a lifetime guarantee.
Perhaps one of the most unique new products to be announced this year were the Trans Dapt Valve Cover Adapters. These laser cut steel adapters allow you to run classic Small Block Chevy or Small Block Ford valve covers on your modern LS engine. These are a great add-on for disguising the modern powertrain in a classic hot rod, street rod, or muscle car, or for adding a bit of nostalgia to your modern muscle car.
One last major product announcement that we made this year was the debut of a new line of bolt-on exhaust tips for larger trucks. They are available in a polished stainless steel finish as well as a flat black powdercoat and feature 4-5″ inlets and up to a 6″ outlet.
